Description
Same formula as the full size, in a pint. Clarity is a premium waterborne, pure acrylic finish for interior and exterior architectural wood. It forms a film and holds a sheen, which is what separates it from the two penetrating oils.
Why test first
A colour on wood is not the colour on a chip. Species, texture, age and porosity all change how it reads, and a colour can read differently in Clarity, which is a film, than in the Protektor oils, which soak in. Brush the sample on the wood you are actually finishing, let it dry, and look at it in daylight before you order the job.
Where it goes
Interior and exterior wood, mass timber, millwork, interior ceiling and wall panelling, soffits and siding. Not for decks.
Colour
All 51 BRODA colours, the same range across Protektor SLT, Protektor DR and Clarity. Nothing is pre-tinted. Every sample is mixed for your order, so allow time for it to be made up.
On the label
VOC 67 g/L. Touch dry 30 minutes, recoat 4 hours at 20 °C. Sheen gloss 80, satin 23, flat 8 at 60 degrees. Shelf life 2 years at 10 to 30 °C. Do not freeze.
