Terms and conditions of sale
By placing an order with CBR Products, online, by phone or in person, you agree to these terms. They cover how orders are accepted, how pricing works, what account customers can expect, and where responsibility sits once the product leaves us.
Order acceptance
All orders are subject to product availability and credit approval. CBR Products reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order at its discretion. An order confirmation email does not constitute final acceptance. Orders are confirmed on shipment or pickup.
Pricing
Prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated, and are subject to change without notice. In the event of a pricing error on our website, we reserve the right to cancel the order and notify the customer.
Where pricing displayed online differs from pricing in our accounting system, the accounting system is the authoritative rate.
Account customers, discounts and credit terms
- Trade discounts are applied automatically to registered accounts.
- Net 30 payment terms are available to approved accounts only.
- Overdue accounts may result in suspension of credit terms and online ordering privileges.
- PST exemptions are applied only to accounts with a valid exemption number on file.
Product use and liability
All products are sold for professional or intended consumer use only. It is the sole responsibility of the applicator to ensure surfaces are properly prepared, conditions are appropriate, and product instructions are followed as set out on the label and the Safety Data Sheet.
CBR Products does not accept liability for results arising from misapplication, inadequate surface preparation, or use in conditions outside the product specifications. It is the buyer’s responsibility to review the applicable SDS before use.
Colour accuracy
Colour swatches, samples and digital representations are approximations. Actual results vary with wood species, grain, surface porosity, application method and number of coats. We strongly recommend ordering samples before committing to a large project.
VOC and regulatory compliance
Some products contain volatile organic compounds. It is the buyer’s responsibility to comply with all applicable local, provincial and federal regulations, including occupational health and safety requirements. SDS documents are available on this website and on request.
Limitation of liability
CBR Products’ liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question. We are not responsible for consequential, incidental or indirect damages, including but not limited to labour costs, project delays or property damage.
Intellectual property
All content on cbrproducts.com, including product descriptions, images and documentation, is the property of CBR Products and may not be reproduced without written consent.
