Description
Same formula as the full size, in a pint. Protektor DR is a water-borne natural oil finish built for wood that takes the full weather. It penetrates the wood instead of forming a film, so it will not peel or flake.
Why test first
A colour on wood is not the colour on a chip. Species, texture, age and porosity all change how it reads, and a colour can read differently in Clarity, which is a film, than in the Protektor oils, which soak in. Brush the sample on the wood you are actually finishing, let it dry, and look at it in daylight before you order the job.
Where it goes
Decks, railings, fences, fascia, pergolas, patio furniture and high-exposure siding. For siding, log walls and timber under shelter, sample Protektor SLT instead.
Colour
All 51 BRODA colours, the same range across Protektor SLT, Protektor DR and Clarity. Nothing is pre-tinted. Every sample is mixed for your order, so allow time for it to be made up.
On the label
VOC 39 g/L. Touch dry 2 hours, recoat 12 hours at 20 °C. Shelf life 18 months at 10 to 30 °C. Do not freeze.
